Here we are at the airport. The kids did okay on the flight there, but the flight home was right at Samuel's nap time, and he screamed and writhed like a demon the last twenty minutes of the flight home, and then suddenly fell asleep. I felt so bad for all the people sitting around us.
The resort was gorgeous. Samuel especially loved all the fountains and water everywhere!

The night view:
While Tim went to classes, the kids and I wandered the grounds.
They especially loved the stairs. I think we went up and down at least a hundred thousand stairs while we were there.
They loved that there was so much room to run.
One day we even ran into Tim and his boss, Mike. Sophia developed an almost immediate fondness for Mike on this trip. She loved to sit with him, and was always asking when we were going to see him.
Tim really works with some great people. Everyone was so willing to help out with the kids. (Ours were the only ones there.) I feel so blessed that Tim has such a great job.
We stayed an extra day and spent some time in the swimming pool. Samuel pretty much hated it. He cried anytime we went too deep. So, I sat with him on the stairs and Tim pulled Sophia around in the pool in the seat we took for Samuel.
This is right at the end, when Samuel let Tim take him out for a minute. |
It was a great trip!
