July Fun

For the Fourth of July, Grandma made the kids these awesome shirts!

They were very excited for the parade!

There goes the flag!

Hot and sweaty after the parade.

Other parade watching:

Hanging out with Grandpa.

Samuel got his first ever haircut, done by Mama. Then our friend came to do some touch ups where Mama missed. (Thanks, Megan!)
Before:

After:

There was a Primary Pioneer Party.

Sophia and her friend Evelyn
Watermelon eating contest

Random silliness with Daddy.

The kids both had their checkups for the year. They did AWESOME! They are growing great, only seven pounds apart. They both got shots, and neither one of them cried!

We jumped in puddles.

All dressed up for church. I didn't intend for them to match, but they sure looked cute!

And we got free Chick-Fil-A dinner on their Cow Appreciation Day because we dressed up like cows!

It was a very VERY full month! So much fun!

Birthday!

We celebrated Samuel's 2nd birthday in July!
Our Independence Day baby.

There were gifts.

I love his face! He sure loves balls!

Samuel is quite obsessed with cookies. Addicted you might say. So, instead of cake, we bought a giant cookie. He was thrilled!

For his other birthday party, we just did smaller cookies. He still got to blow out candles.

And of course, Sophia needed a turn to blow out some candles too.

So happy to have this little guy in our family! We sure love him!

Belated June

Sorry I'm so late getting June blogged. Things have been crazy!

The kids got bikes. They are slowly learning how to ride them. Although Samuel just sits on the bike and we have to pull him along.

Crazy bath hair.

Fun summer things.

These kids may not get along all the time, or even very often, but when they do it makes my heart so happy.

This is them playing "church." They sing songs while holding board books, then one of them stands up on the stairs to pray or give a "lesson." Sophia also likes to pretend to be the singing leader.

I caught Samuel feeding Sophia her breakfast.
