"Happy Goo Noises"

Well, it's been four weeks since Sophia joined our family.  It feels like it's been a lot longer than that!  Life has settled into somewhat of a schedule - mostly just monotony.  ;)  I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can spend more time outside and get some sunshine!
Sophia is a pretty good baby.  She does get a little fussy in the evenings, but that's normal for her age.  She can lift her head up for a few seconds when we do "tummy time."  And she has started to spend a little more time alert and happy.  She makes "happy goo noises," as I call them, and I think she's even started to smile a little.  At least, she looks rather pleased.  I've been reading to her every once in awhile.  Tim thought he would feel strange reading to her at this age, but he did start reading Winnie-the-Pooh to her the other night.  :)  She sleeps best when she's on Mama or Daddy, but she does sleep roughly four hours at a time in her bassinet at night.  She is now too long for her preemie outfits, and too skinny for the newborn ones.  She's super strong and completely adorable!
Tim has been working really hard, which I greatly appreciate.  I know that because he works so hard, I am able to stay at home with Sophia.  And even though he comes home tired every night, he still helps out with laundry, makes dinner, and helps keep the house sort-of clean.  I'm sure he's looking forward to the days when he will get a little more sleep, although I try not to wake him at night.  It's so cute to see him with Sophia; I know there's going to be a special relationship there.
As for me - I'm doing well.  Not perfect, of course, but I'm hanging in there.  I have days where I feel a little trapped, because I do the same things all day, every day.  But I'm enjoying getting to know Sophia, and I love to cuddle with her and make her happy.  I am trying to enjoy each moment that I have right now, because I know things change so fast, but I am looking forward to the good days to come as well.
Here's a few more pictures for all you photo-hungry people.  :)
