Bookworm

Can you guess Sophia's favorite thing to do?

She's going to be a bookworm, just like her Mama and Daddy!

Family Pictures

We took our family pictures the end of October, and I just thought I'd share a few of the best.  :)

Big cheesy grin from Sophia

Squishy cheeks!

This is Sophia's "shivering" face.  So cute!

Halloween!

This was the first year that Sophia was old enough to really get into Halloween. She had SO. MUCH. FUN. She really loved everything. We carved pumpkins at my parents' house. Sophia LOVED the pumpkin guts!

She liked looking into the empty pumpkins.

And she had a blast helping Daddy empty out our pumpkin. . .

. . .one pumpkin seed at a time.  :)

And when it was all done, she was super excited about the face Daddy made.

When Sophia found out what trick-or-treating was all about, she was thrilled!  She walked right up, selected one piece of candy, and put it in her pumpkin bucket.  And if they offered her more, she would select one more piece and carefully put it in her bucket.  She was so polite.  She pretty much refused to talk, but she finally started signing "thank you" toward the end.  It was SUPER AWESOME!  :)

Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Red Butte Gardens

We went to the Red Butte Gardens' "Halloween Gardens After Dark."  It was a blast!  It wasn't as cold as in years past.  Sophia loved running all over.  They had some fun activities, though they were a little old for Sophia to handle. We got lots of compliments on the owl hat I made her.  She loved picking out a pumpkin at the end.  Here's a few photos of our fun evening.

But we had lots of fun!

Randomness

Sophia LOVES Elmo, even though she's never seen him on TV.  She loves books and pictures about Elmo, and she loves that Elmo is on her diapers.  She loves to point and say, "Elmo!"

New favorite place to play: the showroom at Grandpa's work.  So many tubs, faucets, sinks, and places to run and explore!

Sophia sorted the duckies the other day, without any prompting by me.  I glanced over to find her picking them out of the pile...

...and piling just the wedding ones on the floor.

A headband I made her:

She sure loves her Daddy!

Elmo even joined us for scripture study.  :)

Zoo Outing

We went to the zoo, which was a BLAST for everyone!  Sophia made all her animal noises and loved running around and seeing everything.  She got to ride on the carousel, which she had mixed feelings about.  Here's a few pictures of our day:

Such a great day!

Cutest little tiger, ever!  :)
