Only Four Weeks To Go!

We're down to the last month!  I feel like I've been pregnant all year long ... it will be strange to not be pregnant anymore.  People tell me I'm finally starting to look pregnant -- I sure waddle like it.  ;)  We have the nursery pretty well finished, the car seat is installed, the diaper bag is almost completely packed, and our hospital bags are almost fully packed as well.  And yet, I'm not sure I feel ready yet.  :)  Tim has been (as always) the calming influence in my life when I feel overwhelmed.  He is so good about taking care of me and not letting me overdo things.  He is absolutely the best!

Christmas with the Ward family

This year we were privileged to have Brittany's family spend Christmas at our home. They came over Christmas eve for dinner then spent the night... We were awaken abruptly by the 8 year old at 6 AM to start the Christmas day.... Needless to say after going to bed late and waking up early we were tired ALL day!
Brittany way excited for Christmas!
The 14 year old (Bryson)... Proof he still gets a bit giddy for the event!
8 year old (Bridger)... He's the one who started the day soooooo early.
Proof that I was tired.
Karen and Steve (Brandon was hiding.... Somewhere)
The Newly Weds... (Spencer and Breanna)
Grandma Nancy
Excited 8 year old... even after opening presents... all of them, all day.

Christmas Pictures... Brittany said I would post!

Merry Christmas!

This Christmas has been a little different for me (Brittany) because I'm not working this year.  It has made the holidays so much more enjoyable!  Also, being pregnant has given me an entirely different view of the story of Christ's birth.  I have so much more appreciation now for what Mary went through, and the joy she must have felt at becoming a mother.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  We are doing well here.  We had our most recent doctor's appointment today.  Our daughter is a little small - about five pounds - but the doctor said she's not suffering because of her size and is healthy.  I am dilated to one and a half centimeters and 60% effaced.  The doctor said that doesn't necessarily mean anything.  :)  I'm beginning to feel just a touch of the imminence of it all.  We only have just over four weeks till our due date, and there's so much to get ready!

Tim has been working hard - at his job, with his church callings, and at home.  He is such an amazing husband.  He works all day, then comes home and takes care of a pregnant wife.  He's just as charming and funny and lovable as ever.  :)  He is going to be the most wonderful daddy in the whole world, and I am anxious to see him with our daughter.

We have a few photos of our Christmas decorations/preparations, but Tim has to help me get them onto the laptop before I can post them.  ;)  So, that will hopefully be coming soon.  I hope this Christmas finds everyone well and happy!  :)
