We were able to accompany Tim on his work conference to Florida! We stayed in an awesome hotel.
During the day, I hung out with the kids. We mostly just wandered around the hotel. It was rather hot and muggy outside, but we did venture out to see the abundance of lizards.
The kids also loved watching Disney cartoons in the mornings.
In the evenings we got to hang out with Tim, and sometimes with his co-workers. Sophia got to see her favorite adopted grandpa, Mike Edwards.
One night we went swimming. Sophia loved it; Samuel did not. But he warmed up to the idea toward the end.
After the conference ended, we stayed an extra day to go to Sea World.
They both really loved the penguins.
This is Sophia pretending to be a penguin:
They liked the other animals too, and were especially amazed by the Shamu show.
Since Samuel was too short, and I'm expecting, Tim took Sophia on the rides.
Samuel was thrilled to go on the rides that he was tall enough for.
For most of the trip, Samuel was all Mama's Boy, and Sophia was Daddy's Girl.
But on the airplane, Samuel just wanted Daddy.
It was a really fun trip!
