This Christmas has been a little different for me (Brittany) because I'm not working this year. It has made the holidays so much more enjoyable! Also, being pregnant has given me an entirely different view of the story of Christ's birth. I have so much more appreciation now for what Mary went through, and the joy she must have felt at becoming a mother.
I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We are doing well here. We had our most recent doctor's appointment today. Our daughter is a little small - about five pounds - but the doctor said she's not suffering because of her size and is healthy. I am dilated to one and a half centimeters and 60% effaced. The doctor said that doesn't necessarily mean anything. :) I'm beginning to feel just a touch of the imminence of it all. We only have just over four weeks till our due date, and there's so much to get ready!
Tim has been working hard - at his job, with his church callings, and at home. He is such an amazing husband. He works all day, then comes home and takes care of a pregnant wife. He's just as charming and funny and lovable as ever. :) He is going to be the most wonderful daddy in the whole world, and I am anxious to see him with our daughter.
We have a few photos of our Christmas decorations/preparations, but Tim has to help me get them onto the laptop before I can post them. ;) So, that will hopefully be coming soon. I hope this Christmas finds everyone well and happy! :)
You both are going to be awesome parents! Dan says that he loves the name you have chosen for baby Brandt! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow does Dan know...he'd better be talking about "imp"....all this secrecy....argh!
